Onsite (face-to-face) Enrollment

Onsite (face-to-face) enrollments have been the standard of enrollment for many years. The Beneport team has over twenty years experience implementing and managing onsite (face-to-face) enrollments. Employees meet with a Benefit Coach in a personal, confidential face-to-face meeting at the workplace. Positioning Benefit Coaches at all major locations of the organization allows employees equal opportunity to learn about and enroll in the benefit plans in a private, informative meeting.

Beneport utilizes some of the best, most professional Benefit Coaches  in the industry for onsite enrollments. Benefit Coaches utilize a consultative approach to explaining and enrolling benefits. Since many voluntary benefits fill gaps in core benefit programs, Benefit Coaches are trained to show employees how voluntary benefits may supplement the benefits their employer provides, giving them additional financial protection.

Core and voluntary benefits enrollments can both be conducted onsite. Onsite enrollment is utilized for both core and voluntary  benefit education and enrollment, on-cycle and off-cycle of the core benefits enrollment, for new hire benefit enrollment, and for year-round qualified status changes. Employees may pre-schedule their onsite enrollment meetings via a signup sheet or via our online appointment-scheduling tool .  On the date and time of the appointment, the employee meets with the Benefit Coach in the pre-determined private meeting space to complete their enrollment.

In an onsite enrollment meeting, the Benefit Coach:

  • Verifies employee information

  • Reviews the available benefits

  • Answers employee questions

  • Helps to design a program to meet employee needs and budget

  • Enrolls or waives employee in the coverage of their choice

  • Obtains the employee’s signature on the application. In most cases this is an electronic signature via a PIN system or a signature pad

Onsite enrollments generally are best suited for clients with one or more major locations where employees regularly work. After the Benefit Coach leaves an onsite location, employees who missed an onsite meeting can speak by phone with a Benefit Coach in Beneport’s Benefit Center.
